Welcome to Wemio. "Wemio" refers to the client applications, official websites and mini-programs lawfully owned and operated by 北京微链复合人工智能技术有限公司 ("we" or "us"). Through Wemio we offer AI-assisted short-form drama and manga-drama ("short-drama") production — including script generation, storyboarding, AI image/video/audio generation and editing — alongside content publishing, social interaction and search.
1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms of Service ("these Terms") govern your downloading, installation, opening, registration, sign-in and use (collectively, "use") of Wemio. Other agreements, community guidelines, activity rules, announcements and in-product notices we publish from time to time (collectively, "platform rules") form an integral part of these Terms with equal legal force; we will surface them when you use the relevant feature or notify you separately.
1.2 Please read these Terms carefully before using Wemio, paying particular attention to provisions that limit or exclude liability, restrict user rights, grant licenses and govern information use, opt-in single-feature services, governing law and dispute resolution. Such provisions are bolded in the Chinese version for emphasis.
1.3 Wemio is offered only to adults aged 18 or over. If you are under 18, do not register, sign in to or otherwise use Wemio.
1.4 By using Wemio you are deemed to have read and fully understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use Wemio.
1.5 We may delegate certain services under these Terms to our affiliates or third parties. When you use such services, please review the corresponding product information and rules; your use of those services constitutes your agreement that your relationship with the relevant affiliate or third party is also governed by these Terms and applicable platform rules.

2. Wemio Products and Services
2.1 Wemio uses AI model technology to provide end-to-end short-drama production services, including but not limited to script-writing assistance, storyboarding, character image generation, AI image generation, AI video generation, AI dubbing, AI music generation, subtitle generation, editing/composition and template reuse. We also provide content publishing, interaction, search and tutorials. See the "Wemio Model and Algorithm Filing Disclosure" for the model services we offer.
2.2 You may access Wemio via the official website or by downloading the client from authorized app stores. We cannot guarantee that versions obtained through other channels are official or fully functional, and absent a clear legal requirement we are not liable for losses caused by use of unofficial versions.
2.3 You are responsible for the terminal devices needed to use Wemio, including any internet/data fees.
2.4 We build separate application versions for different terminal devices; please install the official version that matches your device.
2.5 We grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable and non-exclusive right to use Wemio lawfully. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Without our prior written authorization you may not adapt, copy, distribute, scrape, vertical-search, mirror or trade Wemio in any unauthorized manner.
2.6 To improve experience or for operational, security and compliance needs we may update or change Wemio products and services from time to time, including modifications, upgrades, suspensions, terminations or replacements. You may choose whether to update; declining may limit functionality. You may also uninstall Wemio at any time.
3. Wemio Account
3.1 You may register a Wemio account using your own mobile number, or sign in via supported third-party accounts (e.g. WeChat, Douyin, Apple ID, Google), unless restricted by the third party. Any third-party account you use must be real-name verified as required by law.
3.2 Collecting your mobile number is required by China's real-name verification rules. If you decline to provide it, we may not be able to offer AI generation, publishing, interaction or paid features.
3.3 You may browse certain public Wemio content without an account, but full functionality (including AI generation, publishing, interaction, credit purchase and consumption, member subscriptions) requires registration and real-name verification.
3.4 You may set your nickname, avatar and bio. You may not impersonate others or open an account under another's name, trademark or identity. We may review and, where account info violates law, regulation or these Terms, take steps including warning, requiring correction, resetting account info, restricting features, suspending, closing the account and barring re-registration.
3.5 Your account is for your personal use only. Gifting, lending, leasing, transferring or selling it is prohibited. If we have reasonable grounds to believe the user is not the registrant, we may suspend or terminate service to that account.
3.6 Provide true, accurate, lawful and valid identity and other information at registration, and keep it up to date. We may require correction or refuse service if information is inaccurate or doubtful. For security and identity-recovery reasons you may be unable to change initial registration data later.
3.7 You are responsible for safeguarding your account. You bear legal liability for actions taken under your account, including content publishing, payments and credit consumption. Lost-account recovery follows our appeal process; we identify only the consistency of submitted info with our records, not the requester's true ownership. If your account is compromised due to your own carelessness, the resulting loss is yours. Notify us immediately if you discover unauthorized use or any security vulnerability.
3.8 You may apply to deactivate your account or delete your account info — see the "Wemio Account Deactivation Agreement", or follow Me → Settings → Account & Security → Delete Account in the client. You may only deactivate your own account and must complete identity verification. After deletion we delete or anonymize your account data, except where required by law. After deletion you cannot sign in with that account or recover any associated content (including saved drama series, scripts, storyboards, generation history, credit balances, unused membership benefits or agent commissions). You remain responsible for actions taken before deletion.
3.9 Per applicable law, accounts inactive for more than six months may be frozen or reclaimed; we will give appropriate advance notice and act if you do not respond.
4. User Conduct Rules
4.1 In using Wemio you must respect privacy and ethics, protect data security and not input or share unauthorized personal information, confidential information (including trade secrets) or other unauthorized data. Respect others' rights — your inputs must be lawful and either yours or properly licensed; do not infringe copyright, patents, trademarks, likeness, name, voice, reputation, honor or other rights. Do not use Wemio to impersonate others or commit unlawful acts, and do not use deep-learning, VR or generative-AI tools to create or spread rumors or false information.
4.2 When you generate, produce, publish or transmit content created with deep-learning, VR, generative-AI or similar new technology that is non-real or could mislead the public ("AI Content"), we will add markers as required by the Measures for the Identification of AI-Generated and Synthesized Content (《人工智能生成合成内容标识办法》), the National Standard 《网络安全技术 人工智能生成合成内容标识方法》 and other applicable laws and mandatory standards. You may not conceal, alter, modify or remove these markers. If you fail to add visible markers as required by law and the public is misled, you bear the resulting consequences.
4.3 We aim to provide a civil, rational, friendly and high-quality creation platform. Once real-name verified, you may use Wemio to generate, produce and publish drama series, scripts, storyboards, audio/video, images and text, and you must ensure such content (whether public or not) complies with law. When your content involves current affairs, public policy or social events, you must accurately label sources.
4.4 You may not input, generate, reproduce, publish or transmit the following illegal content: (1) content opposing the fundamental principles of the Chinese Constitution; (2) content endangering national security, divulging state secrets, subverting state power, or undermining national unification; (3) content harming national honor or interests; (4) content distorting, defaming, denigrating or denying the deeds of heroes and martyrs, or infringing their name, image, reputation or honor; (5) content promoting terrorism or extremism, or inciting terrorist or extremist activities; (6) content inciting ethnic hatred or discrimination, or undermining ethnic unity; (7) content undermining state religious policy or promoting cults or feudal superstition; (8) fabricated rumors or false information disrupting economic or social order; (9) obscene, pornographic, gambling, violent, homicidal, terror-related or crime-inciting content; (10) content insulting or defaming others, or infringing their reputation, privacy, likeness, IP or other lawful rights; (11) commercial advertising in violation of internet advertising laws; (12) other content prohibited by law or administrative regulation.
4.5 You may not input, generate, reproduce, publish or transmit the following undesirable content, and should actively resist its spread: (1) sensational headlines mismatched to the content; (2) hyping scandals, gossip, misdeeds; (3) inappropriate commentary on natural disasters or major accidents; (4) sexual innuendo, sexual provocation or content easily inducing sexual associations; (5) gore, horror, cruelty or other physically/mentally upsetting content; (6) content inciting group or regional discrimination; (7) low-brow, vulgar or pandering content; (8) content that could induce minors to imitate unsafe or anti-social behavior or develop bad habits; (9) cyberbullying — violent threats or intimidation; (10) profanity that damages public order and morals; (11) other content violating law, public policy, public morals, or that disrupts our operations or infringes others' rights.
4.6 You may not input, generate, reproduce, publish or transmit deceptive, high-risk or harmful content: (1) fraud, swindling or misleading content; (2) violence or self-harm content; (3) content threatening life and health, or using dangerous instruments in performances that may endanger personal or property safety; (4) content inciting others to engage in dangerous activities that may cause injury or death.
4.7 You may not input, generate, reproduce, publish or transmit content that disrupts platform operations, including spam, commercial solicitation, excessive marketing, comments unrelated to the content commented on, or character combinations meant to evade moderation.
4.8 More detailed content rules are in the "Wemio Community Self-Discipline Charter". Where we have reasonable grounds to believe you are violating these rules, we may take action — including warnings, restricting account features, suspending or terminating all or part of Wemio without prior notice — and pursue legal liability.
5. Network Security
5.1 You may not use any plug-in, cheat tool, bot, automation, software or third-party tool to interfere with, disrupt, modify or otherwise affect the normal operation of Wemio, including using automated programs to access Wemio or to collect or process its information or content.
5.2 You may not endanger the security of Wemio's systems or use Wemio to engage in any activity that endangers computer-network security, including without limitation: (1) intruding into networks, disrupting their normal function or stealing network data; (2) supplying programs or tools designed for such activities; (3) knowingly providing technical support, advertising or payment-settlement assistance to those who do so; (4) using unauthorized data or accessing unauthorized servers or accounts; (5) entering public networks or others' systems without permission to delete, modify or add stored information; (6) probing, scanning or testing weaknesses of Wemio's systems or networks without permission; (7) interfering with or sabotaging Wemio's normal operation, knowingly distributing malware or viruses; (8) forging TCP/IP packet names; (9) reverse-engineering, decompiling or otherwise attempting to derive Wemio's source code; (10) maliciously registering Wemio accounts (frequent or batch registration); (11) abusing Wemio's APIs, credit system, trial mechanism or referral rewards — including via scripts, multi-accounting or false information — to gain undue benefit; (12) other acts that may endanger Wemio or other platforms.
5.3 Without our written permission, no user or third party may, by themselves or by helping others: (1) use Wemio's information or content for unfair-competition purposes (promoting their own product, drawing users to their product, blurring relationships); (2) edit, organize or adapt Wemio's information or content and display it on channels outside Wemio's source pages; (3) use technical means or special identifiers to modify, hijack, redirect, obscure, insert, pop-up or otherwise impair the normal use of Wemio's content; (4) hot-link, scrape, simulate-download, deep-link, register falsely, mirror, upload, download or use Wemio's content by improper means; (5) use, distribute or display Wemio content while hiding or modifying Wemio's domain, identifiers or user info; (6) use unauthorized Wemio data for hot-word, hit-rate, classification, search-volume, click-rate, view-count or usage statistics; (7) sell or commercialize Wemio's content beyond our written authorization; (8) interfere with usage and view-count data; (9) use Wemio content to develop, supply or operate competing products, models or services; (10) any other unlawful acquisition or use of Wemio's content.
5.4 If we have reasonable grounds to believe you are violating the above, or your conduct adversely affects Wemio's content or other users' rights, we may act, including terminating service without prior notice, and pursue legal liability.
6. Complaints and Reports
6.1 We operate a public complaint and reporting mechanism. You may report violations of law or these Terms via the channels we publish; we will receive and process them promptly.
6.2 If you find content on Wemio that infringes your rights, you may notify us per the "Wemio Infringement Complaint Guidelines" — including by emailing info@wemio.com — with evidence of your rights, and we will handle the complaint per applicable law. If your published content is removed following an infringement complaint and you disagree, you may submit a non-infringement statement and supporting evidence (e.g. via info@wemio.com) and we will likewise handle the appeal per applicable law.
7. Breach Handling
7.1 If you breach these Terms or platform rules, we may, at our discretion, take measures including warning, refusing generation/publishing, immediately stopping transmission, deleting content, short-term posting bans, restricting all or part of account features, deducting issued rewards or commissions, suspending or terminating credits and member benefits, terminating service, permanently closing the account, barring re-registration, and other measures permitted by law. You bear any resulting unavailability, deletion or loss of account assets, and we are not obligated to restore deleted user info or content.
7.2 If you participate in Wemio's prize-sale activities, credit campaigns, referral rewards or agent distributions through improper or fraudulent means, we may restrict or revoke your eligibility, cancel or recover rewards, and require return of awards or equivalent cash if already collected.
7.3 We may publicize handling outcomes and decide whether to restore an account. For suspected unlawful or criminal acts we will preserve records and report to and cooperate with relevant authorities as required by law.
7.4 We respect and protect users' and others' IP, reputation, name, privacy, likeness and voice rights. If you infringe any third party's rights and that triggers complaints, reports or litigation, we may take necessary measures as required by law. If your conduct causes us to incur liability to a third party, government penalties, or other economic or goodwill loss, you must compensate us in full.
8. User Personal Information Protection
8.1 We are committed, with you, to protecting personal information.
8.2 Protecting user personal information is one of our basic principles. To use Wemio you may need to provide personal information so we can offer better service and technical support.
8.3 When you open or use Wemio, we process information to deliver the features you choose and to comply with law.
8.4 We may personalize content recommendations using algorithms and continually refine the recommendation system, while preserving your right to choose and control personalization as required by law.
8.5 We will protect your rights to access, correct, delete and withdraw consent for personal information as required by law, and apply encryption, anonymization and other security techniques appropriate to Wemio.

9. Intellectual Property
9.1 All IP in Wemio products and services — including software, technology, programs, web pages, text, images, audio, video, charts, layout design and electronic documents — belongs to us, except where rights belong to others under law. Software underpinning Wemio's copyright, patents and other IP is owned by us or duly licensed to us.
9.2 While using Wemio you may submit text, images and audio/video ("Inputs"); Wemio responds by generating scripts, images, audio/video and text ("Generated Content"). Specific Input and Generated Content types depend on actual product features. You represent that your Inputs and any content you publish — including all components such as music, sound, dialogue, visual design — are original or duly licensed and do not violate law, infringe IP or other rights, or contravene public morals.
9.3 Within the scope permitted by law, IP and other property rights in your Inputs, Generated Content and content you publish belong to you or the lawful rights holder. You may use Generated Content for personal or commercial purposes, but you are responsible for ensuring such use complies with applicable law and third-party rights.
9.4 To continually improve our services, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to use your Inputs, Generated Content and published information for: providing service under these Terms; optimizing our products, services and models; ensuring service security and stability. To opt out of model training/optimization use, change your Wemio privacy settings or email info@wemio.com — we will handle within reason.
9.5 To better share and promote your works, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable license over content you publicly publish through Wemio, including modification, reproduction, translation, compilation, network-information-dissemination, adaptation, derivative-creation, performance and display rights. The scope covers Wemio and other websites, applications and smart-terminal products. You agree we may, ourselves or via third parties, use such content in promotion, advertising, marketing or research. The license includes the right to use likenesses, names, trademarks and brand assets embedded in your content. If you do not want content to be publicly distributed, set it to private or visible only to yourself — this clause does not apply to non-public content.
9.6 You confirm we may, by ourselves or via third parties, defend rights in your IP-protected content per the above license — monitoring infringement, sending demand letters, litigation, arbitration, mediation, settlement — and decide and execute such actions independently.
9.7 Based on certain feature designs, characters, voices and templates in content you publicly publish through Wemio may be used by other users to create and publish their own works (e.g. "do-the-same", reference, AI-generation features). To opt out, disable the relevant authorization at publish time.
9.8 Special note on AI-Generated Content IP: the legal nature of AI-Generated Content and its IP ownership and scope of protection may differ across jurisdictions, and law and judicial practice continue to evolve. We make no express or implied warranty that content you generate via Wemio constitutes a "work" under copyright law or that you hold full copyright. For significant commercial uses, consult professional legal advice.
9.9 We provide technical support for Wemio's development and operation and hold all rights, within the scope permitted by law, in data and information generated through that process.
9.10 Do not use, remove or tamper with the "Wemio", "微链", "wemio.com" trademarks, service marks, trade names, domains, site names or other brand identifiers (collectively, "Marks"). Without our prior written consent you may not display, use or apply to register the Marks (alone or combined), nor imply you have such rights. You bear full liability for losses caused by violating this clause.
10. Paid Services
10.1 Wemio uses a hybrid model: Credits and member subscriptions. Credit prices, member tiers, benefits and validity follow what is then displayed in the Wemio client and on the official site. We may adjust prices, credit-consumption rules and member benefits in response to market conditions, costs and strategy, with appropriate advance notice.
10.2 Credits: (1) Credits are virtual consumption vouchers used inside Wemio for paid AI generation; 1 credit has specific in-Wemio value only and cannot be exchanged for fiat currency. (2) Credits are split into purchased credits (acquired by payment) and bonus credits (granted via promotions, new-user gifts, sign-in, referrals); their use rules, validity and refund policies may differ — follow the page-level rules at purchase/grant time. (3) Bonus credits typically have a validity period and expire automatically; purchased credits' validity follows the page-level rules at purchase. (4) If a generation fails due to network or model issues, credits are returned per the situation; however if the request is rejected due to non-compliant input, or the result does not meet your expectation, consumed credits are not refunded.
10.3 Member subscriptions: (1) Membership is billed monthly, quarterly or annually per the cycle you choose, with corresponding benefits (monthly bonus credits, exclusive model access, generation priority, commercial-use scope, etc.). (2) Some plans support auto-renewal. You may toggle auto-renewal at subscription time and may cancel it at any time via the Wemio client or your payment platform. Cancelling auto-renewal does not affect benefits within the current cycle, but the next cycle will not auto-renew. (3) Specific benefits, changes and adjustments follow the then-current public listing in the Wemio client and on the official site.
10.4 Refunds: (1) Credits, once purchased, are in principle non-refundable, except where mandatory law or these Terms otherwise provide. (2) Member subscriptions, once activated, are in principle non-refundable. If service cannot be provided due to our fault, or law otherwise requires, you may apply for refund. (3) For payment or refund disputes, contact info@wemio.com.
10.5 Agents/Distributors: (1) To become a Wemio agent or distributor you must sign the "Wemio Agent Cooperation Agreement" or "Wemio Distributor Cooperation Agreement" and operate per its terms. (2) Qualifications, commission rules, settlement cycles and compliance obligations are governed by that signed cooperation agreement.
11. Tax
Per applicable law, income, rewards, returns or commissions you earn through Wemio may be subject to tax filing or withholding. You agree to cooperate when we need to collect or use your personal and tax-related information to withhold tax or file returns at the request of the tax authorities.
12. Single-Feature and Third-Party Services
12.1 Wemio includes information and content links obtained through lawful means, as well as other single-feature services we lawfully operate. These may exist as separate sections in Wemio, and we may add, reduce or change them from time to time.
12.2 You may activate and use these single-feature services. Some may require you to also accept service-specific agreements or rules between you and the service provider; service identity is determined per the agreements you sign and the disclosures of the corresponding service. We will provide reasonable access to such agreements and rules. Once you start using such a service, you are deemed to understand and accept its terms. If no validity period is stated — or it is stated as "permanent", "unlimited" or "unrestricted" — the service term runs from your first use until the service is discontinued in Wemio.
12.3 When you use third-party products or services in Wemio (third-party AI model services, third-party payment services, third-party distribution channels, etc.), in addition to these Terms and other Wemio rules, you may need to read, agree to and comply with the third party's agreements and rules. Disputes, losses or damages from third-party products or services are settled directly with the third party.
12.4 If you choose to pay using your third-party payment account in Wemio, you agree that the payment service is provided by a duly licensed third party, governed by these Terms as well as the third-party payment provider's and financial institution's terms and policies.
12.5 When using financial services in Wemio (including third-party payment), please understand the service content carefully and read and agree to the relevant terms.
13. User Restrictions (Adults Only)
13.1 Wemio offers services only to adults aged 18 or over. By registering, signing in or otherwise using Wemio, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18, have full civil capacity and can independently bear civil liability.
13.2 We may require age verification during registration or use. If we determine you are under 18, we may immediately terminate service, deactivate or reclaim your account, and delete or anonymize related information.
13.3 Protection of minors: (1) If you are a guardian and discover that your ward used Wemio or made purchases without your consent, contact info@wemio.com — we will verify and handle per law. (2) If content you publish or generate involves minors' likeness or voice, you must obtain the necessary lawful authorizations and consents. If such content infringes minors' rights, we may handle the content upon notice from rights holders or for other minor-protection reasons and inform you accordingly.
14. Service Limitations and Liability Disclaimer
14.1 Generative and deep-synthesis AI offers benefits but also raises misuse concerns. By choosing Wemio you acknowledge and agree:
(1) Given current technical limits and the nature of AI, we cannot guarantee Generated Content's truth, accuracy, reliability or uniqueness. Identical or similar inputs may produce identical or similar outputs; if your input includes reference images, outputs may resemble what you upload to varying degrees. Evaluate Generated Content objectively and avoid relying on it as a basis for action. Before acting on Generated Content — particularly on health, medical, financial, investment, insurance or legal matters — we recommend consulting professionals.
(2) You must understand and use generative and deep-synthesis AI lawfully — including under the Cybersecurity Law, Data Security Law, Personal Information Protection Law, Interim Measures for the Administration of Generative AI Services, Provisions on the Administration of Deep Synthesis of Internet Information Services, and the Measures for the Identification of AI-Generated and Synthesized Content — and bear liability for your own unlawful conduct. Wemio makes no guarantees about Generated Content; you must judge and verify it objectively, and bear all consequences of decisions and follow-up actions you take based on it (including risks from your judgment of truth, accuracy, reliability, uniqueness or non-infringement).
(3) We take content safety seriously and apply reasonable measures to filter inappropriate or harmful model outputs, but exceptions can occur. Please report such cases — we will use feedback to keep improving.
(4) Model output does not represent Wemio's stance, view or position. Due to technical limits, outputs may be unreasonable or flawed. For questions or help, contact us via the in-product feedback or email info@wemio.com.
14.2 Wemio is provided "as-is" based on current technology and conditions. We make no express or implied warranty that: (1) Wemio fully meets your needs or any specific purpose, or that any product, service or information obtained meets your expectations; (2) Wemio is uninterrupted, timely, secure, reliable, error-free or perpetually available; (3) all errors will be corrected; (4) you face no risk in using Wemio.
14.3 We will use best efforts for service continuity and security, but Wemio may be affected by various factors. Within the limits permitted by law, we are not liable for service suspension, interruption, termination or losses caused by: (1) force majeure (governmental action, natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, typhoons, war, strikes, riots, epidemics); (2) factors beyond our control such as power failures, network failures, hacking, malware, viruses, third-party service defects; (3) maintenance, upgrades and patching of Wemio systems or equipment — we will give advance notice where practicable; (4) interruption, restriction or change in third-party AI model services we depend on; (5) partial feature unavailability due to law, regulation or policy.
14.4 For loan, investment, financing, wealth-management or other property-related online information, account credentials or promotional content, exercise particular caution and judge for yourself; absent clear legal requirement, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, joint or punitive damages including lost profits, goodwill, data or other tangible/intangible losses.
14.5 Our right to review and act on illegal content under law and these Terms is a right, not an obligation or commitment; we cannot guarantee timely detection or action.
14.6 These Terms aim to comply with law, public morals and the protection of users and others. We use best efforts to judge per applicable law but do not guarantee our judgment fully matches that of judicial or administrative authorities.
14.7 Unless we expressly agree or commit otherwise, we do not warrant Wemio is lawful or appropriate in jurisdictions outside our official launch. If you use Wemio outside such jurisdictions, you confirm you do so voluntarily, will ensure compliance with all applicable local law, and bear the corresponding risks and responsibilities.
14.8 Despite best efforts and current technical limits, we cannot ensure flawless service or anticipate all legal, technical or other risks. Absent a clear legal requirement, in no case are we liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, punitive or exemplary damages, including lost profits or losses from actions taken in reliance on Generated Content. Absent a clear legal requirement, our total liability to you under any cause or theory shall not exceed the fees (if any) you paid us during your use of Wemio.
15. Notices
15.1 To improve service or in response to changes in law, regulation, policy, technology or product features, we will revise these Terms from time to time, and the revisions form part of these Terms. After updates we publish the updated version in the Wemio client and on the official site, and remind you of the changes via announcements or other suitable means before they take effect; you can also access the latest version in the client or on the site. Continuing to use Wemio constitutes acceptance of the revisions; if you object, stop signing in or using Wemio immediately.
15.2 We may notify you via system prompts, in-app pop-ups, announcements, in-product messages, email or SMS, among other means. Keep your contact information current. Our notices may materially affect your rights and obligations; please remain reachable and read them promptly.
16. Other
16.1 The formation, validity, performance, interpretation and dispute resolution of these Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding the laws of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan). If any provision is invalid for conflicting with applicable law, that provision shall be reinterpreted, within the limits of law, as closely as possible to its original purpose; the rest of these Terms remain in full effect.
16.2 The place of signing of these Terms is Beijing, People's Republic of China. Any dispute shall first be addressed through friendly negotiation; failing that, you agree the dispute shall be submitted to a competent People's Court in Beijing.
16.3 Headings are for convenience only and do not affect the meaning or interpretation of any provision.
16.4 You and we are independent parties. These Terms do not constitute any express or implied warranty or condition by us to you, nor any agency, partnership, joint venture or employment relationship.
16.5 You have read and fully understood, and expressly agree to be bound by, all clauses highlighted by bolding, underlining or other prominent means.
